2010 – 2011

About

The Corona Del Sol Choirs continue to receive superior ratings, and rank among the top in Arizona.

Jaztecs

The most elite of all choirs, Jaztecs, this year, consists of 22 members. Every member of Jaztecs must also be a member of A Cappella.In March 2008, the Jaztecs performed at the American Choral Directors Association Western Division Convention along with Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University top ensembles.

A Cappella

With an all time high of 91 members, A Cappella is the most advanced co-ed choir. This group consists of mostly upperclassmen. A Cappella was fortunate to be able to perform all seven movements of Gabriel Faure’s Requiem at their 2009 Spring Concert.

Encore

Encore is the most advanced women’s choir at Corona del Sol. This year, the choir consists of around 70 women. Encore also is mostly made up of upperclassmen. Along with A Cappella, Encore also travels to California every spring for the annual Choir Tour.

Women’s Ensemble

Women’s Ensemble is the beginner’s choir that consists of all women.  This year, about 45 members make up this choir. It is a choir for beginners, so it mostly consists of underclassmen.

Men’s Chorus

Men’s Chorus is the all male choir for beginners. It consists of mostly of underclassmen. Beating it’s number of 18 men last year, this year’s Men’s Chorus contains an overwhelming 25 members.
